I've always thought of Sea Lions as the playful dogs of the sea. This sculpture is not that. This mind blowing piece is The Wild Ones "California Groove Sea Lion" designed, handcrafted and hand illustrated by Huntington Beach surfer/artists Sam Bernal and Dave C Reynolds. This is truly a unique "one of a kind" sculpture. There will never be another like it. On the base it stands 13 inches high and is 8 inches wide. The sea lion sculpture is resin cast with metal back coating. Mounted on a polished brass rod. The special wood block has been created by a Japanese wood burning technique called "shou sugi ban". The lowest base portion is solid resin with a faux granite finish. The whole piece weighs an impressive 4 pounds.
